A Dark Reminder

Why did I keep these gauntlets...?

I'm not even sure why...these gloves on me were the very same weapon I used back when I was that madman's slave...I almost killed my sister with these...if not for my dear cheri stopping me just in time...

Would this be a dark reminder to me? That I should never ever let my guard down...? That Shadaloo is more powerful, vicious and heartless than we give credit for...?

...that I should be even stronger than before...?

Maybe...just maybe...I could use this against the people who made them...?

But there's...something else...I don't know why...but I feel like I lost something so important to me...something so vital in every battle I engage in...
